## Malpensa or Milan to Davos by Private Car

A **private transfer from Milan to Davos** covers about 240 km and takes around 3 h 25: north past Como and Lugano to Bellinzona, through the San Bernardino Tunnel on the A13 motorway to Thusis, then via Tiefencastel and up the Landwasser valley to Davos at 1,560 m. From Malpensa the trip is about 3 h 15, from Linate about 3 h 20 and from Bergamo about 3 h 40. The price is for the whole car, not per person, and includes fuel, motorway tolls, the Swiss vignette and parking.

The San Bernardino Tunnel is part of the Swiss motorway and is open all year, so there is no mountain pass to cross and no tunnel toll to pay. By public transport the trip from Milan means trains via Zurich or via Tirano and the Bernina line, around five hours with two or three changes and your ski bags on every platform.

We drive to every hotel and chalet in Davos Platz and Davos Dorf, to Klosters and on request to Lenzerheide, Arosa and the other resorts of Graubünden. [Check your price and book online →](#mci-book)

Davos lies at about 1,560 m in the Landwasser valley of Graubünden and is one of the highest towns in Europe. Every January it hosts the World Economic Forum, and between Christmas and New Year the Spengler Cup, one of the oldest ice hockey tournaments in the world.
