Milan Private Transfer Prices — Honest, Fixed, Confirmed Before You Pay
The single question every traveller asks before arriving in Milan is: how much does a private transfer cost? The answer is simple — because at MilanobyCar, prices are fixed, route-based, and confirmed in writing before any payment is taken. No meter running, no dynamic pricing, no supplement discovered on arrival.
We are a Milan-based, owner-operated NCC company established in 1993. Every driver is ours. Every Mercedes is ours. When you enquire about a price, you are speaking directly to the people who will drive you — not a broker, not an aggregator, not a call centre. The price quoted is the price charged: tolls, fuel, meet-and-greet, luggage, and 60 minutes free airport waiting are all included.
The table below lists our standard 2026 prices for the most frequently requested routes. For destinations not shown — Florence, the Dolomites, the Swiss Alps, or bespoke multi-day itineraries — contact us for a fixed quote. Every route has a fixed price.

A Fixed Price Is Worth More Than the Cheapest Quote
Platform prices that look low often have fees added at checkout. Our price is the final price — confirmed in writing before any payment, impossible to change on arrival.
Confirmed in Writing
Your price is sent by email or WhatsApp before payment. It is legally binding. No platform can change it at checkout or on arrival.
Per Vehicle, Not Per Person
Whether 1 or 6 passengers travel in the V-Class, the price is the same. Groups pay no more than solo travellers.
Tolls Always Included
Malpensa to Milan uses the A8 motorway. The toll is included in every quoted price. No supplement charged on arrival.
60 Min Free Airport Wait
Flight tracking is standard. Your driver monitors landing in real time and 60 minutes of post-landing waiting are included at no charge.
No Dynamic Pricing
Our prices do not change with demand, time of day, or traffic. Fashion Week, Salone del Mobile, and Christmas prices are the same as off-peak.
Direct, No Broker
MilanobyCar is owner-operated since 1993. You speak to the same team who will drive you. No platform fee, no middleman markup.
Own Fleet, Own Drivers
Every Mercedes and every driver belongs to MilanobyCar. No subcontractors. Quality is consistent across every single booking.
Licensed NCC Since 1993
Full NCC licence, professional insurance on every vehicle, annual safety inspections. All compliant with Italian transport law.
What Clients Say About Our Service and Pricing
Real TripAdvisor reviews from guests who commented specifically on the price, value, and transparency of MilanobyCar.
"His website is easy to navigate for quick pricing compared to other car services. This was one of the main reasons we booked with MilanoByCar. The pricing is also comparable and rest assured you are in good hands with Adrian. His driving skills were top notch. We used his services twice — from Bellagio to Venice and then to Milan airport. The car is impeccably clean."
"MilanoByCar was a perfect choice for my family — 5 adults and 1 youth with 6 large bags. The Mercedes V-Class ensured lots of room for luggage and passengers. All three bookings, Venice to Bellagio, Bellagio to Milan and hotel to Malpensa, were flawlessly executed. Drivers were on time, communicated regularly, and the pricing was exactly as agreed. Highly recommended."
"We have been using this company for 15 years: pick-ups from Malpensa, round trips from Milan to Florence, Venice, Corvara, Courchevel, Megeve. Always on time and the driving was very safe. Never once did we feel unsafe, even on mountain roads during a snowstorm. Adrian and his drivers are very experienced and top-notch."

Frequently Asked Questions — Prices
How much does a private transfer from Malpensa Airport to Milan cost?
A private transfer from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) to Milan city centre costs from EUR 180, all-inclusive. This covers the driver, the vehicle, meet-and-greet inside the terminal with a name board, real-time flight tracking, full luggage assistance, all motorway tolls on the A8, and 60 minutes of free waiting time after your scheduled landing. The price applies to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and does not vary by time of day on most routes. Any applicable supplement is stated explicitly at booking.
How much does a private transfer from Linate Airport to Milan cost?
A private transfer from Milan Linate Airport (LIN) to Milan city centre costs from EUR 120, all-inclusive. Linate is just 10 km east of the city centre and the transfer takes 20 to 30 minutes in normal conditions. Meet-and-greet inside arrivals, luggage assistance, and 60 minutes of free waiting are all included. Linate primarily serves domestic and short-haul European routes.
Are prices per person or per vehicle?
All MilanobyCar prices are per vehicle, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with 6 passengers in the Mercedes V-Class, the price is identical. A family of four pays exactly the same as a single passenger. This makes the V-Class particularly good value for groups, families, and anyone travelling with significant luggage who would otherwise need two separate vehicles.
Is the quoted price truly final? What about tolls and night supplements?
The price confirmed in writing at booking is the final price you pay — always. Motorway tolls on all standard routes (A8 for Malpensa, A51 for Linate, A4 for Venice and Verona) are included. If a night-time or early-morning supplement applies to your specific route, it is stated explicitly in your written confirmation before any payment is taken. You will never discover an additional charge at the end of the journey.
What does the official Malpensa taxi tariff cost, and how does MilanobyCar compare?
The official fixed taxi tariff from Milan Malpensa to the city centre is EUR 104 for a standard licensed taxi (applicable to addresses within the city boundary). For a single passenger with modest luggage, this may be competitive. However, a standard taxi carries a maximum of 3 to 4 passengers with limited luggage. Our Mercedes V-Class costs EUR 180 for up to 6 passengers with all luggage — making it equal or better value per person for families and groups, while offering far more space, a guaranteed English-speaking driver, and a name board at arrivals.
How much does hourly hire cost in Milan?
Hourly hire in Milan costs EUR 80 per hour with a minimum booking of 4 hours (EUR 320 minimum). Your driver and vehicle are entirely at your disposal for the agreed duration. There is no additional charge for multiple stops within the agreed area. Hourly hire is particularly in demand during Milan Fashion Week, the Salone del Mobile, MICAM, and EICMA, when reliable flexible transport across the city is essential.
What are the prices for transfers from Milan to Lake Como?
Key fixed prices from Malpensa Airport to Lake Como: Como or Cernobbio from EUR 180 (45–55 minutes); Bellagio or Tremezzo from EUR 260 (80–90 minutes); Varenna from EUR 280 (approximately 90 minutes). From Milan city centre, prices are slightly lower — contact us for a specific quote from your hotel address. A full-day Lake Como tour with driver and return transfer costs from EUR 580.
Do prices change during Fashion Week or peak season?
No. MilanobyCar does not apply dynamic pricing or seasonal surcharges. The same fixed, route-based prices apply during Milan Fashion Week (February, June, September), the Salone del Mobile (April), the Christmas and New Year period, and all other major events. This is one of the most common questions we receive, and the answer is always the same: the price you confirm at booking is the price you pay, regardless of what is happening in Milan that week.
How do I get a price for a route not listed on this page?
Contact us by WhatsApp or phone at +39 335 821 0912, by email at booking@milanobycar.com, or via the online booking form at milanobycar.com/book-now. We provide fixed price quotes for every route we operate, including Florence, the Dolomites, Cinque Terre, the Swiss Alps, Monaco, and any other destination in northern Italy or neighbouring countries. Every quote is in writing and confirmed before any payment.
Is free cancellation available?
Yes. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time on all standard bookings. No cancellation fee, no administrative charge. For cancellations within 24 hours, we ask you to contact us directly as soon as possible — in most cases we are flexible, particularly for flight cancellations and medical emergencies. Please read your booking confirmation for the specific terms applicable to your route.
Milan Private Transfer Prices — How They Are Calculated
MilanobyCar prices are route-based and all-inclusive. The quoted price covers the driver, the vehicle, parking time at the airport, motorway tolls on all standard routes, fuel for the complete journey, and the agreed waiting time. It does not vary with traffic, demand, time of day, or number of passengers within the vehicle's capacity. This is a fundamental difference from metered taxi services and from platform-based booking aggregators, where the final price may not be known until arrival or checkout.
Malpensa Transfer Prices — Why EUR 180 and Not EUR 104
The official Milan municipality tariff for a licensed taxi from Malpensa to the city is EUR 104 for a standard cab carrying up to 4 passengers with basic luggage. Our Malpensa private transfer costs EUR 180 for a Mercedes V-Class carrying up to 6 passengers with unlimited luggage, includes meet-and-greet inside the terminal with a name board, real-time flight tracking, 60 minutes free waiting, and a guaranteed English-speaking driver. For a solo traveller with one bag, a metered taxi is a reasonable option. For a family of four with airport luggage, the private transfer is frequently better value per person and always more comfortable and predictable.
Milan Fashion Week and Salone del Mobile — Transfer Prices
During Milan's major trade events — Milano Moda Donna (February and September), Milano Moda Uomo (January and June), the Salone del Mobile (April), MICAM (March), and EICMA (November) — private transfer demand in Milan is at its highest and standard taxi queues at Malpensa and Linate can exceed 45 minutes. MilanobyCar does not apply event surcharges. The same fixed prices apply during all trade fair periods. We recommend booking several weeks in advance during Fashion Week and the Salone del Mobile to guarantee availability.
Long-Distance Transfer Prices from Milan
For inter-city journeys, MilanobyCar provides fixed prices across all routes. Milan to Venice costs from EUR 750 for the Mercedes E-Class and EUR 850 for the V-Class (carrying up to 6 passengers at the same rate). Milan to Portofino costs from EUR 450. Milan to Florence from EUR 700. Milan to St. Moritz from EUR 350. All prices are one-way, per vehicle, and include tolls. Optional en-route stops — Verona, Bergamo, Sirmione — are included at no extra charge on most routes.
