Yes. MilanobyCar has operated during every edition of Milan Fashion Week since 1993 — both the women's editions (February and September) and the men's editions (January and June). Yes. We operate throughout the Salone del Mobile every April. Services include: direct transfers to and from Fiera Milano Rho, full-day hire for Design Week logistics across multiple districts (Rho Fiera, Brera, Tortona, 5Vie, CityLife, Porta Nuova), and evening returns to hotels or airports. Is the price higher during Fashion Week or Salone del Mobile?
No. MilanobyCar does not apply event surcharges, seasonal pricing, or dynamic rates. The same fixed, route-based prices published on this page apply during every Milan event — Fashion Week, Salone del Mobile, EICMA, MICAM, Christmas, and all other periods. The price you confirm at booking is the price you pay. How far in advance should I book for Milan events?
For Fashion Week (February, September) and the Salone del Mobile (April), we recommend booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance for all services. Airport transfers can sometimes be arranged at shorter notice, but for hourly hire and multi-day event logistics, early booking ensures the right vehicle and timing. For EICMA (November) and MICAM (March), 1 to 2 weeks is generally sufficient, though earlier is always better.
Can you handle a full-day Fashion Week schedule with multiple stops?
Yes. This is exactly what our full-day hourly hire service is designed for. You share your agenda — show times, locations, hotel address, dinner venue — and your driver plans all routes and timing. Milan Fashion Week locations vary by brand and season, but the main areas are the Duomo district, Brera, Tortona, Porta Nuova, and the city's historic palazzi. Your driver knows every one of them. The Mercedes V-Class is the ideal choice for groups attending trade events. It accommodates up to 6 passengers with a large boot for samples, bags, and presentation materials. The fixed price applies regardless of how many of the 6 seats are occupied — a group of 4 pays the same as a group of 6. For individual senior executives or VIP guests, the S-Class provides the appropriate level of privacy and comfort.
Do you transfer directly to Fiera Milano Rho from the airport?
Yes. We provide direct airport-to-Fiera transfers from Malpensa (MXP), Linate (LIN), and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY). This is particularly convenient for delegates attending the Salone del Mobile or EICMA who are arriving on the day and going straight to the fair before checking into their hotel. Is discretion guaranteed for VIP and celebrity transfers during Milan events?
Yes. Discretion is standard on every MilanobyCar booking. Our chauffeurs do not photograph or film passengers, do not share itinerary information, and do not discuss their clients. Milan Fashion Week takes place four times per year: menswear in January and June, womenswear in February and September.
