Uber, Taxi, Chauffeur Service or Train?
Best way to move around in Italy?
Or how to travel around Italy, public transportation, train, bus, taxi, Uber or Private Chauffeur Service.
Mainly I talk about Milan city and Northern Italy area, but that is valid for all Italy.
From Malpensa airport to Milan city you can take the train, the cheaper way to reach the city, Milan Centrale train station or Cadorna train station and from here to your destination, depending on the distance, walking, by tram, Underground, taxi or Uber.
One by one, Taxi is a little cheaper than Uber if you find an honest taxi driver and don't take in the "city tour", in the normal conditions; Actually starting in the spring of 2020 Uber become cheaper than a taxi, because taxi cost around 100 Euro and Uber around 80 - 90 Euro
The difference between taxi, uber, and chauffeur service for people who want the best of the best, in the service quality, with the chauffeur service the driver will be waiting for you inside the airport with a sign with your name, no hurry, you have time to take a fast cafe or going to the bathroom, help you with the luggage, in case you wish to buy a SIM card we take you to the right place, even I suggest to take the SIM card in the town from one of the major phone company.
Always from Malpensa airport if you have in your mind to reach another city different than Milan, become more complicated by train, per sure you have to change minimum one time the train and again more complicated if you have to reach a small town like the resorts around lake Como because to reach places like Bellagio, Tremezzo you may need to take another taxi or take the ferry to reach your hotel or B&B. Around the lake Como no train stations exception the Eastern Side of lake Como like Varenna town

Are you looking to escape the crowds of the more popular ski resorts and head to somewhere less touristy? Or do you just want to go somewhere a little more off the beaten track? If you want to ski in an up-and-coming resort, then Zermatt fits the bill. First, it’s in Italy and not everyone will have heard of it. And second, it is one of the highest altitude skiing resorts in the Alps making for some truly great snow.
Let's start with Breuil- Cervinia, about 3 hours fare from Milano city; The high-altitude Cervinia ski resort is a family-friendly, Italian Alps ski area that has benefited from significant snowmaking investment by its owners. The resort comprises two separate sectors and has a total of 50km (31 miles) of piste. If you don't ski, don't worry, enjoy the panoramic view, have a lunch in Breuil-Cervinia or you can take the car-cable and have the lunch "in altitude".
the Breuil-Cervinia resort sits in the heart of the Italian Alps, at 2'092 m. A unique mountain adventure where snow, wildlife, culture, and originality blend in a harmony between man and nature. Breuil-Cervinia is one of the places where you cannot miss it. The excitement, enthusiasm, and the dream of children playing in the snow in front of their cabin will find their fulfillment here. You will have the opportunity to make your dreams come true. You can experience thrills that no other resort offers. Breuil-Cervinia will continue to lead with your creativity and passion for friendship in the Alps. Whether it’s the relaxed atmosphere, the abundant off-piste opportunities, or just the skiing in general, a holiday in Breuil-Cervinia is like nowhere else. Plus, it’s great to see a resort show constant improvement to existing facilities while constantly building new ones, ensuring that skiers won’t run out of new things to do. Breuil-Cervinia is a truly special place that deserves to be at least one on your bucket list—and hopefully, this guide will help you make the most of your time here.

We also have luxury Mercedes Vito and Mercedes Viano vans for large groups like families, businessmen, or tourists who want to travel comfortably and make a great memory.
Another suggested place, about 2 hours and 30 minutes fare from Milan is St Moritz, in Switzerland. St Moritz is a beautiful ski town that is just a short trip from Milan. There are many activities you can do while visiting; including lots of family-friendly activities and some great places to stop into along the way. There are also resorts close by in the area if you want to continue your winter adventure. St Moritz offers something for everyone. All in all, I really enjoyed my time in St Moritz. It was a good way to spend a day off from Milan, to see a new place, and to see some nice scenery without having to hike/walk. However, be prepared for it to be crowded; if you want privacy, don’t go on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of summer. Going to Italy for the first time? You have seen the pictures and read about this beautiful country full of history and culture… But what’s Italy like in real life? What can you do there with your friends and family, as a couple or with your children? In this article, we will give an overview of all the winter activities you should try in St Moritz, one of the best ski resorts in Europe. The highlight of St Moritz is the village. It’s a winter wonderland with beautiful snow-covered mountain ranges and picturesque cobblestone alleys. Of course, the luxury hotels, such as the famous Palace Hotel, are part of the attraction too. You will also find an excellent skiing culture here, with some of Europe’s top skiing runs and ski schools in the area.
Another place for a day trip from Milano is Courmayeur. Courmayeur is a very big resort that offers people to enjoy the landscape, snow and ice skating, as well as several activities for family skiing. The village is inside beautiful landscapes that are perfect for people who want to go on a day trip from Milan and find natural places where they can breath clean air.Courmayeur is a perfect mountain town to visit in Italy. The best two things you can do there are exploring the resorts at the top of the mountain and enjoying the fresh air. If you have time to spare, you can do an excursion to see the chain of mountains start from a different place or if would like to go into Switzerland but only have one day, head to nearby Lake Como.If you are planning a trip to Italy, Courmayeur should be one of the top destinations you visit. This alpine town is beautiful, comfortable and filled with wondrous activities. The surrounding landscape is superb, the food addicting, and the people friendly.I definitely do not recommend spending a whole day just to visit this mountain village. However, if you have a half day to spare, I strongly recommend seeing the magnificent views of Courmayeur and the surrounding peaks.
